We’re hosting relaxed, beginner-friendly ceramic sculpture workshops this summer in one of the most beautiful spots in BC—and we’d love to have you join.

This isn’t a fancy, high-brow art thing. It’s more like clay under your nails, sketching on a lake dock, and sharing stories in rubber boots (recommended, but optional). The adventure comes from our love of field trips—to artist studios for a bit of shop talk, or out into nature for inspiration. Last year, we took the dinghy to a remote sandy beach on Powell Lake—only accessible by water—for sketching and relaxing. (It was optional, and while we can’t guarantee the same conditions this year, we’re hoping for something just as special.)

What’s included:

• 2.5 days of hands-on instruction

• Clay, tools, and materials

• Field trips to natural and artistic spots around the qathet region

• 3 nights’ shared accommodation (private rooms may be available for an extra fee)

• breakfasts, plus snacks and tea/coffee throughout
